1/2 mil job at high profile school! This is a major stepping stone job, just look at Texas and FSU!!

Seems it would not be hard to get a top guy. Look at what happened in one year at MSU and Auburn. Top guys can take talent like LSU talent and doing something special. If CLM does not fire Gary it might be his complete down fall at LSU and I would hate that.

If you listen to the sp's on the board he is not going to fire him. It must be gospel because Dandy Don said Les and Gary will be here for two more years. Great!

Miles won't throw someone under the bus like that. I like that about him. He'll do it behind closed doors and be careful to not burn his bridges.

That's if Crowton is gone. If he gets back to running a simple offense and focuses on execution.. well.. there's no where to go but up.

Howdy boys. This is my first post to the board. I'm just sickened to my stomach. To me the play calling was horrendous. I live in Texas and see the spread offense run here all of the time. I think LSU needs to move to the spread. Now you might make the argument the Jordan Jefferson is not the QB to run it and that's fine. We're not going to win a SEC title with him at the helm anyways.

LSU desire to run the offense from the shotgun was a complete waste of time. It's not so much the abandoning the running game was that bad of a decision. However it let the defense know you were going to pass the ball and Jefferson is not that good to be that kind of QB. When he did get under center in the second half they did move the ball.

My question to you is this. If Les was to fire Crowton (not like that will happen), what do you think of bringing in the Texas Tech offensive coordinator? I doubt he would leave Tech because this is a great opportunity for him. But my thinking of someone that can run the spread is something that would be great for LSU.

    Have a great day
