On the plane coming back home last night, they had a really neat article on Trindon Holiday in ESPN the Magazine. Should pick it up, talks about his recruiting (Didnt know Nick Saban was involved in his recruiting) and how no schools where interested in him because of his size etc etc. How he barely lost to Tyson Gay and he holds the 10th fastest 200 ever run. Anyway several times throughout the article and the magazing they referred to him being "The fastest man in the history of college football" and not tounge in cheek either. So I ask is that really true, does he have the fastest timed 40 of anyone ever to play college football ? I sure would like to use that against my friends in trash talking moments. PS. Said he ran one time a 4.21 40 in his basketball shoes from a stand still. Again just passing on what the article said.
Well, he has the fastest 100-meter of any football player. I don't know about the 40, but he looks scary fast to me.
Wow. I'd love for him to run a combine 40. Hope he gets a chance. I know several have run 4.2 or better. Vick ran a timed 4.2 as did Deion. There is one player who supposedly ran a 4.1-something but I can't remember who that was.
demps was faster, but th bested it recently. there's another thread or two on the subject if someone cares to find it. th is really good at the 60. not sure if he's the fastest fball player in that one.
Deion ran he fastest official time at 4.29. Bo Jackson is said to have run a 4.18 but it is unofficial and disputed From Wikipedia: Holiday has a 10.00 in the 100-meter. That's very, very fast. He does 6.54 seconds in the 60-meter.
