1. ...would you be rooting for them? Or any other SEC team? Tonight I clicked on ESPN.com and I was really praying to see an LSU win. But then I began wondering.... I went to Florida. Is it just me or does the SEC pride run like that in general?

Regardless, congrats. Hopefully you all bring it home tomorrow.

  2. Hell yeah, I would.

    My order of rooting:

    1. LSU
    2. SEC West
    3. SEC
    4. Underdog
  3. Me too. Like the chant by all at the end of the Ar kansas game: "SEC, SEC..."
  4. I always root for the SEC in non-conference games unless its against a Louisiana school (mostly in meaningful games--in games where it doesn't matter except in conference prestige, I root for the SEC against most Louisiana teams).

So, for the national championship game this past season, I was 100% a Florida fan against Oklahoma.
  5. What if Vandy was playing Tulane ????
  6. GEAUX VANDY!
  7. I pull for the SEC when we are not playing them, I pull for some SEC schools to beat other SEC schools. So yes I could pull for Florida if they were playing Texas.

  8. S-E-C!!! S-E-C!!! S-E-C!!!

  9. Tulane isn't a Louisiana school... its populated by yankees who couldn't afford the Ivy League...
  10. IMHO, support for SEC teams in non-conference games is what separates our conference from others. I am proud to be an SEC supporter in such situations, and would NEVER pull for another conference team against a conference member. I also expect, and appreciate, the same support from other SEC fans, ESPECIALLY when one of our members is playing for a national championship. :thumb:
