Hasn't Phillip Seymour Hoffman been nominated for a ton of awards. I know he's won an oscar. Not sure if he's underrated but he's definitely an incredible talent. she's about 4,359th on my list of women to turn my life upside down for. Or the Brown Bunny movie perhaps?
Yeah but I would still consider him unsung. If you asked 10 people on the street who he was, I would be surprised if 2 of them could tell you a movie he starred in. For as much as he has accomplished, still unsung.
this is a list of very famous and respected character actors. all well respected and well known, just not as leading men. except wilkinson, never heard of him. your list should called "the most respected character actors" and add steve buscemi to the list. portman and moore are two of the most famous actresses on earth, so you must really love them if you think they are underrated.
