Loston putting the late hit out of bounds on Sheppard was classic, at the start of the game. Loston reminds me of LaRon. All over the field, and can hit like a truck. Sheppard is something else with his feet. He almost makes me want to run the GA Tech Option game. Still like a two QB system next year. I just think that Sheppard will need to be on the field, next year. Maybe he will become the next Percy Harvin of the SEC. Very impressed tonight!
It's a disappointment. But LSU still has a healthy lead over whoever wants to be #2 right now on rivals.com. Wrap up Randle, Mingo and then 3 more highly touted players (Montgomery, Myles, Kelly) and this will be the best class of all time on rivals.com. Speaking of Kelly, will be interesting to see if he would be a replacement for Debose. Kelly is like Randle however, a tall(ish) wideout. Debose was a slot kinda guy. Don't forget we have Benton, who is every bit as good as Debose or Randle.
On the other hand.. with us losing out on Debose.. does that give Drayton Calhoun the upperhand to play slot now? Is he the future slot guy now? I can't help it.. he's one of my favorite recruits. :hihi:

You guys let the istslsls optimism get to you... We were only expecting two commitments from these games. We got one in Loston, and missed on the other in DeBose. We have limited room left in this class - we couldn't have taken them all if they wanted to come.
Figured somebody would bring this up... I'm pretty sure Garrett was referring to DeBose, as he supposedly told our coaching staff a while back he wanted to come here. He just changed his mind. You could well be right.
