Well, to be fair, our defense stepped up in the second quarter and looked to pull themselves together. Then, they imploded and LSU lost all its momentum. 30 points should win you a game.

Thank you for saying what I really wasn't sure how to put into words. Smoke Laval seemed like a suitable comparison as well, so I used him to make my earlier point.

Well, maybe not in this year's Big XII. But against an Arkansas team like this one? Every freakin' time it should.

So, an available Butch Davis, in theory, wasn't a better choice?

    C'mon.

Well, you fellas that live in the BR and surrounding areas hear this stuff more than me, so please let those of us who don't live there know if it's true. On several occassions last year he (GC) was called an offensive genius, so something changed.

So then he didn't call the entire 2nd half. Only the ineffective part of the 2nd half.

    I see.

I don't live in or near BR, and have never listened to Buddy Songy and don't know anything about him. That said, though, could it be that he is not unlike most other sports radio hosts who like to stir the pot a bit to get listeners to call in and "debate" (argue) the issues?
