You just witnessed the beginning of the end of the Les Miles era. A good coach who will always be remembered for winning a championship with the players a great coach left him.

Start making your wish list for a new coach in 2010.

    We are not there yet.

If Miles decides to keep Mallory-Peveto in 09, then we will probably have to revisit this thread, sadly.

It will only be the beginning of the end of Miles if he keeps the two dumbos around as co-defensive coordinators.

He just won a NC, and that should have bought him more time, don't you think? :dis:

    EDIT: ditto, islstl

If he sticks with them then we are in for a long season next year as well and he should be fired for doing so. I think Les is smarter than that though and will make the move at the end of the season.

Come on give me a break. I am aggravated as well, I had to prevent myself from breaking my coffee table numerous times, however this kind of talk is nonsense, winning a national championship should buy you at least five years of fans not questioning your job security. I do believe we need a change from the defense side but Les should be free of this talk.

We are looking at 5 maybe 6 losses this year so if next year is anything like this year I will have to agree with you.

some of you purple and gold speedo wearing fans may put this guy down but about 80,000 tiger fans felt just like him last week when they left the stadium. (for good reason.) I posted the CLM era thread last week time to revisit.

See me next week when you are suffering from post-Thanksgiving indigestion after seeing crappy Arkansas lay the smackdown on this Tiger team who used its last bit of 2008 fuel in the 4th quarter against Troy.
