    I took it to mean that Perrilloux had too much negative influence on him from his hometown friends, his brother, and other hangers-on in Baton Rouge. People kept getting him at the wrong place and the wrong time with the wrong people.

    Of course, Baton Rouge is just a tiny metro area compared to pro cities. To ever be successful in his trade, he's going to have to be able to handle tempting situations.

    True, and I am not so sure a small town is better for someone to "rehabilitate." I seem to do a lot more things that mom wouldnt be proud of in small towns.

    I moved to a small town at the end of my 7th grade year, and it was amazing to me how much more (cough) "experienced" those kids were than the ones I'd just left in Baton Rouge.

    and its not just the money. its all the cling-ons that will do nothing but tell him how right he is about everything and how wonderful he is.

    not a good mix for someone with a propensity to find trouble and needs to mature.

    Jacksonville State is Division I, not Division II.

    Technically, they are Division I Football Championship Subdivision which was I-AA a year ago before they changed the names.

    Like myself, everyone still just calls it Div II.
