1. Better for RP to get axe'd now than in the season..... (positive spin).....

If is was me, and I had JUST BEEN RE-INSTATED to the team, I would try to stay out of harms way. (that's logic of someone who is not in his 20's and indestructable).

What's done is done. I am ready to move on.

We still have a damn strong football team, just with one less liability on our hands.

  2. half of every football team smokes pot, homie. and all of every basketball team.
  3. he wouldnt understand that.
  4. ...while systematically depleting our strategic petroleum reserves on Uranus.
  5. I guess that's why half of the team failed their drug test and got kicked off the team.
  6. Sadly, you may be right, but I don't think so, at least not on a regular basis. Not the ones in programs that win championships! Clearly, this kid hung with a bad crowd and did that crap on a regular basis, and got popped on the test and now, he's out. That will certainly scare the rest of the scholarship guys that do smoke once and a while. We hope!

The last thing we wanna see is our Old War Skule turned into another Thug U like Tennessee or you name 'em.
  7. *you dont get kicked off for failing a A drug test.

you could, but odds are slim unless you suck really bad at football.
  8. There are obvious lingering psychological effects from repeated marijuana use over a period of time. Weed is illegal for a reason, not because stuffed suits in Washington have an attitude. That being said, possession is a very minor misdemeanor for good reasons also. But this is a discussion for another time & another thread.

  9. I totally agree...............:geauxtige
  10. How many times do you grab the hot pot on the stove before you realize "Holy Sh!T thats not what I should be doing"

The really sad thing is no one is every gonna work with this kid, Im sure he will find some place to play where they will sweep everything up for him and do certain things that will allow him to play, but he willl never learn his lesson.

EITHER WAY I do not think this is the last time RP will have some sort of impact on our lives, because it would not shock me if one day he is also getting our taxes dollars.
