1. According to Jeremy Mills from ESPN, LSU is coming up here to Lincoln to play in a regional. Interesting stuff...

  2. I can live with that!

    My dream scenario...

    1) LSU wins a regional on the road.
    2) The host of the regional we're paired with loses.
    3) LSU (by default) hosts a Super Regional.
    4) The last game ever in the Box sees LSU advance to the CWS.
    5) You can guess the next part.
    6) The new Box opens with a billboard reading: National Champions '91, '93, '96, '97, '00, '08

Wishful thinking...sure!...but so was hoping Warren Morris could hit a 2-run homer to beat Miami or that we could come back in the 8th and 9th against Stanford.

  3. I would just love nothing more than my beloved Tigers to come up here to corn land and show these midwesterners how to play baseball. That would be a tough ticket to land around here, but I would definitely have to find a way to make that regional at Haymarket.
  4. baseball america also has the tigers a projected #4 seed in an ann arbor regional

on a side note, they have tulane a #3 seed in a miami regional. my father is estatic because they also have oklahoma state projected as a #7 national seed and hosting wichita state, arky, and so cal. that would be a fun regional to attend.
  5. I don't know if you've seen the Huskers this year, but the Tigers don't want to play Nebraska at Haymarket... unless they plan on loosing.

  6. Nebraska "SHUCKS".
  7. last I heard, we got a pretty good fan base out in Nebraska
  8. You do as long as the Huskers aren't playing.

  9. Watch it man! Keep it up and I won't cook the other meal! :)
  10. That was never an issue, because when we played there, it was the World Series
