1. Yes, this is OUR year. As mentioned in another thread, if we beat UCONN at home on the 25th, we stand a very good chance of getting a #1 seed in the tourney. This is BIG as we would play the second round int New Orleans. It will be a dog fight and the more fans the better. Please support these tough Seniors at 6 pm. on 2/25 at HOME!!!!!
  2. To further illustrate.

LSU is virtually playing for home-court advantage.

They will play the 1st and 2nd round in the PMAC regardless, but with the right seed, the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 can be in N.O.

So they may not have to travel more than an hour until the Final Four.
  3. When do the new rankings come out for the women's polls?
  4. today sometime. Usually around noon-1.

maybe later today, because they will be meeting extra long to justify keeping Tennessee No. 1 :)
  5. im pretty pissed about my night class mondays right about now
  6. TigerKid-

Maybe you can catch the last half of the game? I'm SURE your teach will understand!!!!

  7. LSU only moved up to #6 in the AP (up from 7), although one voter placed LSU at #1.

Tennessee fell to #3. I knew that losing to Maryland and Rutgers would cause us a problem. And it did. They remain at #4 and #5, respectively.

When LSU beats UConn, are we going to stay at #6? UConn moved back up to #1 in the AP.
  8. Who goes to class in college??

WTH is wrong with that teacher, they should dismiss the class early and be there too. :thumb:

Hey swampmamma, do you follow our softball team too? They're poised to have a good year as well. I've been trying to tell the guyz here that LSU women's sports rock.
  9. Rutgers has 8 protest votes that put them at #1 in the AP. People are still really pissed at the home cooking by Tennessee.
  10. I could care less about where they rank us when it concerns basketball. Win 2 more conference games=SEC Championship.

    Win the rest= #1 Seed

Loss to Uconn and win all others= still strong possibility of a #1 seed.
