    What's amazing is that RJF is actually a better DE than DT, and his dominance this game was from DT. He can line up wherever we need him.

    I got VERY PISSED when the guy who interviewed him (Not even sure what the prick's name is) after the game brought up his suspension. It may have been fair game but WTF bring that up specifically and not just focus on his play without throwing that in?

    Could have just said, you waited..... I just thought it was wrong to put a kid on the spot like that after winning a National Championship and in front of such a huge viewing audience but he handled the question with maturity and class.

    Don't forget Marlon Favorite. Favorite, RJF, Nevis, and Woods is a nasty rotation of tackles.

    LSU = DTU

    I haven't looked at the roster, but Pittman is a SR and Jackson might opt for the draft, so we might be looking at two new starting DE's. I can't name too many others, so I don't see a whole lot of experience in whatever depth we have outside. That said, the way RJF played last night, I'd leave him at tackle.

    BTW, what was the nature of his suspension? I thought he was academically ineligible.

    Was reading through some NFL boards, as you know everyone wants to see Dorsey in action, and some of the more knowledgable fans wanted to see Tyson Jackson in action too. Most were impressed with both Dorsey and Jackson, but they're saying who the hell is that #90 harrassing a world class O-line that has the size of an NFL O-line. I said it in preseason, Jean-Francois is the next great lineman from LSU, and that game proved it. Way to geaux JF, make us proud!

    Next year,

    DT’s: Favorite & Alexander, with back-ups Al Woods & *Drake Nevis (could become a starter)

    DE’s: Tyson Jackson & RJF, with back-ups Rahem Alem and… Corley/Blackwell?

    Tyson Jackson hasn't had a great year & will come back. Kirston Pittman now has 2 NC rings & needs to get in the NFL while he's healthy. I don't think he's coming back.

    Alexander still has another year of eligibility?

    Geez, can we trade one of those guys for an experienced corner?

    Alexander will get a medical redshirt for this year, giving him another year of eligibility.

    So, you think he will have two years remaining? He is listed here as a (redshirt) junior.

    For whatever reason, I assumed he was a senior.
