Heres a nice little "prop" I just picked up. Nice to hear someone over there at ESPN admit we may cause a "problem" for OSU... "Ohio State has struggled with mobile quarterbacks. LSU has two of them. Is it a recipe for disaster?"... Heres the link: http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?&brand=null&videoId=3141354&n8pe6c=2
First, unless we're not watching the same ESPN, it's fairly clear whom they favor in this game, which is totally fine with me. Second, is it too much to ask for sportscasters to actually provide some x and o talk, not just the same regurgitated knocks against one team. If I were an LSU fan, i'd definitely be hyped, but i'd be a little peaved that the talk has been as much about how OSU sucks as it's been how good is LSU, as your program has done some great things this season, and these guys would do well to elaborate on them a bit more, to both provide actual information, and to give them the props they deserve for getting through what they did. That said, I still think we pop em in the mouth, but I have no delusions of an OSU romp. simply will not happen. thanks for providing the link:thumb: I hadn't seen that one yet, if you know of any others, please let me know. Thanks!
Much as I "hate" do disagree with an Ohio St fan (little joke there). From what I've seen its been just the opposite. Hey...we all know its whichever way the winds blowing with those guys. I hold "0" credence in anything ESPN has to say really. Its just I was a bit "amazed" after all the "hype" they've bestowed upon you guys. They've pretty much been OSU friendly. Up till now anyway. I suppose when it comes right down to it, its whichever side you're on as to how you perceive all this bulls**t.
That is not a fair assesment of what has been said by the talkin heads, but I get your point. I have a buckeye in the family and he sure loves promoting the underdog role. I laugh with him here and there and say whatever floats your boat. Most on TF do not think it will be a blow out. Usually not the case this year with LSU. Many just think OSU will see a healty team like we were at the beginning of the season.
I think both teams are suffering forms of disrespect either from different networks or individual reporters. To me Bucknutcase nation wants to hoard the disrespect card as if that will be the difference in the game. LSU has disrespect bulletin board material if they want it. Just read several ESPN 'ers opinions. Isn't Gameday crew pretty much all picking the OhSU? I know Corso has been dissing LSU the last half of the year. I know there is still talk about a split national title (Sporting News article) and it requires an LSU ugly win and an OU dominating win. No split if OhSU wins in any fashion. That is the ultimate disrespect to LSU...and we've been through it once already.
Bunch off Sabre Rattling and Bulls""t designed to get something started. You guys know this stuff is only gonna get "worse" this coming week. :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
Speaking of disrespect for LSU and up pops lasportsman. Hell, the way you were trashing the LSU coaches and team earlier, I figured you would be pulling for Ohio State. How have you been? Glad to see your now an LSU fan for a little while. ldskule: ldskule:
Thanks for asking, I'm doing better. Maybe it was all that pain med I was taking from my shoulder reconstruction that made me come across as a non-Tiger fan, but...look I just try to be real and not a homer all the time. Sometimes our coaches and players stink it up that's all. I realize championships are hard to get to and hard to win....unlike our friends from Ohio-ho-ho-ho who think they are entitled to championships. I've been trashing the bucknut-cases at my favorite spot lately
