WWL radio's Buddy Deliberto just reported that the Tigers will face Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl. Cites "impeccable source."

Maybe so. WWL usually gets upstaged on NO Saints news by the national media, but I would assume someone in the Sugar Bowl organization passed on to him that LSU will face Oklahoma for the National Championship in the Sugar Bowl.

This can't be true. No way Buddy could pronounce the word "impeccable."

I believe him. He said it with complete certainty. And he certainly has the sources arond here.

    You have a point. :)

Maybe the excitement has cleared up his stutter on multiple syllable words.

As someone who grew up listening to Buddy, but hasn't heard him in years, I refuse to believe Buddy actually spit out the word "impeccable". It's impossible, the man simply could not have pronounced that word. He must have been trying to string a few words together and it sounded like "impeccible".

Buddy D. is too harsh on the ears....I don't understand why he remains on the airwaves.....

Buddy is not perfect, but sports talk radio seems to be moving in a controversial direction. To stay on the air, the radio host has to create an argument about something to get people stirred up, even if none existed before.

The one I never could understand the appeal of is Jim Rome. He is certainly living proof that "it has finally reached the point where having absolutely no talent whatsoever is no longer enough."

(One of my favorite sayings, BTW.) LOL
