Anyone has an idea what the tie-breaker procedure would be if Kentucky wins out and causes a 4 way tie for the lead?

For some reason, I believe we would play Florida.

The first 3 or more team tie-breaker (overall head-to-head record) eliminates Tennessee and Georgia (both 1-2 records) because Florida and Kentucky would have better records (2-1).

Then Florida beat Kentucky, so Florida is in.

    Did I interpret that correctly?

True, Fl would win. I am sorry I cannot remember my source but it was in print this week.

If Ky. wins out, that means UT loses one more (They play Ky.) and UGA beat UF so we'd play UGA. Pretty sure anyway, off the top of my head.

*Edit* Not true, I'm wrong- I didn't realize Ky played UGA also, good question.

Swerved It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Oddly enough I was thinkin Georgia but I don't know how it's handled since it happens so infrequently. It makes my head hurt just thinking about it. Georgia has the heads up over Florida in a tie situation. TN and KY would have the advantage over Georgia, but they both lost to Florida... Who lost to Georgia... Did I mention my head hurts now?

    Thanks islstl...

I think I got the interpretation of the rules correct. Looks like Florida is in if its a 3 way tie or 4 way tie.

    Here's how it would be:

Tennessee beat Georgia who beat Florida who beat Tennessee.

Throw Kentucky in, and you have Kentucky beating both Tennessee and Georgia, but losing to Florida.

The first tiebreaker is head-to-head record of the tied teams:

    Tennessee 1-2
    Georgia 1-2
    Kentucky 2-1
    Florida 2-1

This narrows it down to Kentucky and Florida. Florida wins due to the head-to-head win.
