Re: Polls #1 Coaches, #1 AP which is why PRE SEASON POLLS MATTER, in the human polls. they WOULD be number 1 ahead of us IF the pollsters would have guessed they'd do this well. For them to vote Kansas up top now it would be like them eating crow. Pollsters badly want to validate what they "thought" was going to happen pre season. which is why we're getting some love. they saw the talent we have and for the most part the polls have been good to us this yr, versus say some of the other teams that have same record.

It sure is nice to be sitting in the #1 instead of #2. I'm sure Oregon is nervous with no conference Championship game. Does anyone remember the difference between LSU and USC in 2003 before the last BCS poll when we edged them out?
Re: Polls #1 Coaches, #1 AP Good point and I agree 100%. Nevermind that fact that they lost late and we lost early, what it all boils down to is we each lost a hard fought game and yet they're 6 spots below us. In no way am I complaining, but this system we have stinks.
