La Tech and Ole Miss shouldn't be a problem, as long as we take care of business. No stupid penalties, no TO's, no taking anyone lightly. Plus the added motivation that a win over Ole Miss clinches the West. Arky has me worried. You never know with them, especially with that running game. I know we've beaten them the last 4 years; there's just something about them and I'd hate to see them as the reason we don't run the table. We've had some wild games with them recently (last year, 2005, 2002 just to name three). Anyone else concerned about Arky? The brutal part of the schedule is behind us now, just don't want to see any letting up. I am confident that CLM will have the boys ready, though. :geauxtige
Can't let up for Ole Miss. Remember last year in our own stadium. The McFadden Razorbacks always worry me. You just never know when that slippery sucker will get loose. I'm a little more confident in our run stopping capability this year, though. Also, this would be a good warm up game in case we see Oregan.
Every time LSU steps on the field, I'm worried. They should be undefeated right now, and the only game that should even have been close was Florida. It is so frustrating to watch them play. I hate to say this, but it's just not fun to watch them! Watching football is supposed to be fun for the fans. But it can't be fun when every time your team makes a good play, you have to hesitate to celebrate because you're looking to see if a flag was thrown. And most of the time there IS one! LSU is the best team in the nation. The only team that can beat them is LSU. They've done it to themselves once. And they almost do it to themselves just about every week! Darren McFadden is awesome. But the power of LSU's self-imposed foul-ups in the form of penalties, turnovers, and dropped passes is much more awesome! Get your heads straight, Tigers! NOW! :tigerhead
I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Ole Miss, in the last 5 meetings, 4 of them have been decided by 3 points of less. They'll play above their level when the Tigers roll in. Believe it or not, THIS is one of our biggest rivalry games. ’06 23-20 (OT) ’05 40-7 ’04 27-24 ’03 17-14 ’02 14-13
Yep. And remember, Ole Miss is the only lower-tier SEC team without an upset this year. MSU took out both Auburn and Kentucky. Vandy shocked the Cocks. Could Ole Miss be due?
Last weekend, OM allowed a divsion 1_AA team to score 31 points in the SECOND HALF............If LSU can't beat them, they don't deserve to play in the NC game............You and I both know that........It is what it is. :angryfire
Since it's the final home game, we need the grounds crew to run the sprinklers all night and day before the game. The field needs to be good and soaked. Run DMC & Jones can be slowed, but not stopped. They had over 500 yards rushing this past weekend! Their passing defense in no way can defend our receivers. :geaux:
