CLM NEEDS TO HAVE THE TIGERS BETTER PREPARED. WETHER IT IS THE BIG GAME COMPOSURE ISSUE OR FLAT OUT DISREGARD TO PLAY THE GAME CORRECTLY, IT DOESNT MATTER. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE COMMITTED 13 0R 14 PENALTIES AND STILL WON BUT THAT ISNT GOING TO CUT IT IN THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. AND IT WILL DEFINETLY WILL NOT IF WE MAKE IT TO THE NC. NOW THAT I'M OFF MY SOAPBOX I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT THE TIGERS ONCE AGAIN PLAYED THEIR BUTTS OFF AND SHOWED ALOT OF HEART TONIGHT. OUT.:geauxtige
What would you guys say the reason for some many personal foul penalties was? Emotion? Home Cooking? Lack of Discipline? Rivalry game with a lot on the line? Just curious to get yalls opinion because i haven't seen so many in one game.
Bama had 2. Wow. There's something special about a team that can throw 3 interceptions and commit 14 penalties for 135 or so yards, and still win against a top-20 SEC opponent. This is a coaching issue and eventually may decide how this season ends, one way or the other. :crystal: or bust...
The Dorsey "15 yard Face Mask" was BS...replay shows he had the jersey...now as far as the other 13...the one that turned the game...Tyson"Bonehead"Jackson, 3rd down...helmet to the back of SJP...gave Bama the momentum going into half.
What a ridiculous thing to say. Did a ref take Carnell's helmet off? Or push Tyson into JP? Personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conduct are usually pretty flagrant- they are also a sympton of a problem. I thought the officiating was pretty fair- the replay officials even gave us one I thought could have gone either way on a reception bama made but the ball "Hit the ground" and it was overturned. Don't say holding on every play. Rogers Redding has flat out said it wouldn't be called if it was "Away" from the play and didn't affect it- not that I agree with it, cause I don't; however, they've been consistent with their "No calls", for the most part.
guys....hitting the player between the shoulder blades with your facemask isn't a penalty....HELMET TO HELMET is the only penalty that is called, unless the official is calling a spear...NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED ON THAT PLAY. That was another phantom penalty
Sabanfan will be after some of you after tonite. How dare you question any LSU coach or the team since we won the game. Some of you sound similar to what Ramah would say!
I would say it would fall under the unsportsmanlike like conduct rather than personal foul to answer your question.
