Well they were on the very front row so you couldn't see anything and had to watch on the jumbotron. She said she bought some other tickets and didn't wanna rip anyone off and was only gonna charge what she paid for them. It was just random luck that I heard her talking to my friend's mom. Once I got into the stadium and hung out at our seats for a bit I knew that I couldn't watch the game from anywhere but the student section and my friend and I walked over there.

I kinda felt like all the insanity wasn't really just celebrating the USC loss but everyone just getting absolutely pumped when we knew it was our time to win. At first it was celebration then it just morphed into pandemonium to pump the team.

Un-believable!!!! I will never forget that day as long as I live. That all out chaos that ensued after the SC score was anounced was tremendous. You could feel the valley shaking beneath you. I thought my ears were gonna bleed. The crowd stayed enthusiastic even after the game. For the Alma Mater afterwards, I didn't even have enough left in the tank to shout L-S-U with the crowd. The band palyed a few more songs after that, while people in our section were singing, dancing, hugging, crying, some people not knowing what to do. It was amazing!! Game ball goes to DEATH VALLEY!!! It earned it's name yet again last night!!

P.S. It feel great to be NUMBER 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At exactly what point was the score anounced at the game. I remember seeing all of the sidelines going nuts at one point in the third quarter and I was wondering what led to all of the excitement, Im guessing that was it. For some reason, I didnt find out the USC score until much later in the 3rd quarter that USC had lost. I was at the bar and couldnt hear the TV. (I could only imagine the staium, the bar was hopin')

It was about mid 3rd quarter. Right before Florida's final TD. Words cannot describe that atmosphere. IT got loud quick! Not jut one of those YAY kinda moments when a big score is announced, but more like an eruption. Then BOTH teams got all psyched up and started hopping around waving their arms, and the place got even louder!!! Don't know if it could be heard on TV, but Holy Ch!t!!! There ain't a stadium in the country that can hang with Death Valley!!!

I thought the only funny thing the florida players did was right after the usc announcement, a geaux tigers chant started. #4 for florida would point to the students when they'd chant "geaux" and he'd point to the east side when they'd chant "tigers". I thought that was funny.
i sound like a little kid.

It must have been around 9 or 9:30 because I sent my son a text to let him know......I knew he wouldn't be able to hear the phone in the stadium. lol

This game was probably the best for me. I been going to games for probably 10 or 11 years now and this one was just freaking great. I think what puts this one on the top is when they announced that USC lost, the crowd was unbelievable. I've never seen it like that. Then you add a 4th quarter comeback against a great team like Florida and that puts the icing on the cake.
