Why? Only one turnover so far this year. We seem much more adept at protecting the ball this season, thankfully.
statistically, LSU should win this one 35-9 or so but I get the feeling it wont be near as easy because of the darth visor factor. USCe shouldnt be able to stop LSU's running game and blake mitchell is the wild card. he could implode as easily as having a good game. im thinking 26-20 good guys. ill blame the rain.
I think we should run the score up on them too, I wanna get a good comfortable lead, then maybe pull a few starters at the time. I am all for giving others a chance, but only after we are winning big. :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
As I heard it, when Arnsparger was leaving in 1985 Darth Visor was very interested in the  job. Bob Broadhead, the  AD, wouldn't interview him despite the fact that Darth came down to Baton Rouge on his own nickel. In fact, rumor goes, Darth and Bob were even at Ruth's Chris at the same time and Broadhead wouldn't even go over and say hi. A year or so later, Darth got the Duke job and then, three years after that, was hired on at Florida. Don't know if that's entirely accurate but I wouldn't put it past Broadhead to be that much of a d***.
Hell, I want to see all the young'uns--the LaFells, the Tollivers, the Chad Jonses and the RPs of the team--absolutely mash today. Let's do it to the tune of 37-0, and when Leslie announces that he's "goin' home" at season's end, HBC will think of today's game, pick up the phone...and give his old pal John Lombardi a call. "Yeah, dis Head Ball Coach...I hear your boys in Baton Rouge got an openin'..."
