Starting to realize, even more, Guilbeau wants nothing more but to tick you off..

The thing is, I think you can be honest and intelligent (in contrast to being a homer) without just being a pot-stirrer. In fact, pot-stirrers aren't honest. They just do whatever is required to get a rise out of people. Guilbeau's not the only one, but he is a lot clumsier at it than Finebaum, Corso, Trev Alberts, and the others. Those guys stir the pot but don't look petty doing it, even though they are in fact petty.

I used to listen to Finebaum's Internet radio broadcast a bunch cause he not only talks about Bama-Auburn football but SEC football. But some of his stuff gets ridiculous and he ends up looking stupid.....like calling for Tuberville's head every other year when he was going 8-5 just to get a rise out of people.

But he has good guests to discuss SEC football which is nice. I wish Ott would have more guests to discuss football. I like when Finebaum has on Pat Dye.....why couldn't Ott have DiNardo on every week to discuss football in general? Guests of some sort other than Rosecoe. I like Roscoe but I'd rather hear it from Pat Dye than Roscoe.

I don't mind reading Guilbeau every now and then, even though he's not a good writer and does seem to lob hand grenades just for the publicity of it.

He has access and, if you read him for the (admittedly little) data, you can reach your own analysis and laugh (or flame if you must) at his.

Better than only having press releases from the athletic department...
