#65 redeemed himself on the last touchdown...Christ, that's the first time he's blocked anyone all night. He's just been watching the d-line run by him!!!Jamcarcus, Jamarcus where are you when we need you? Happy feet aren't going to carry us to to the SEC Championship, much less the National Championship. Flynn's got a mighty slow release.
You know, I feel for the fans leaving the stadium after a game in Starkville. The parking lot must be full of cattle looking for all those bells by the end of the third quarter...
Ethinic Makeup!!!!?????? I'm a frigging white guy!!! It has NOTHING to do with "ethnic makeup". Flynn looks confused, and I have seen him run with time to throw. I DO NOT understand that comment. OK, I'll lighten up and watch Flynn hopefully show a little more control in the 3rd quarter. As of now, I think he's running too quickly before checking out the defense, and making throws to Doucet ONLY. I don't get it.
I'm glad no one on this site is coaching the LSU football team. Imagine if MSU had lucked out and was leading by a touchdown. Most of the posters here would be hitting the panic button..... As I remember LSU has had a hard time in the first game of the year plenty of times. Va. Tech blew us out at their house and Oregon St. came to Tiger Stadium and if their kicker had hit an extra point all night they would have won the game. We are up 17-0 and should win the game. Calm the hell down. As far as the coaching staff goes I'm curious to see if we make some good adjustments and whether the team shows some progress next week. If they don't then you can blast the coaching staff and try the 2nd string QB. my two cents
I'm definitely not saying doomed at all just that it looks bad in this game. Short quick passes are what Crowton is known for and is something that is high percentage even in the rain. This is not what I thought we would see as far as play calling and like mentioned hopefully it's intentional and for this game only.
I have to agree with Mark May on this one. What is Crowton thinking running Flynn on so many option plays? If he tries the same thing against the Virginia Tech and/or the South Carolina defense, Flynn WILL get hurt.
If we have a large lead in the fourth quarter, I think we should see Perrilloux for some real playing time.
