Importants aspects to this game: First game of the season with a completely new offensive staff & many new starters on offense including QB & WRs. This means that our offense may be limited in its effectiveness as we will be a bit rusty and Miss St should have a pretty good defense this year. On the other hand, Crowton is known for high scoring offenses & has put up huge numbers against "scrubs" with other teams. The fact that the offense is so new may mean that we leave our starters in for longer than we otherwise would in order to work out the kinks, aka running up the score. While we have young, inexperienced, and relatively underdeveloped WRs that could struggle against the likes of VT, Auburn, or Florida, they are still extremely athletic, speedy, and talented. A great defense can exploit the lack of development, but if MSU's defense isn't up to that standard (which I don't think it will be), then our speed & athleticism will still be enough to overcome.
Why should I reveal our secrets, since no "Tigers" think we have a chance anyway? Go Dawgs! ClaraDawg
Looking foward to a better season than last year. untill november, we either lost or blew out our opponet at home.
MSU will play good like Vandy for 3 quarters , LSU going into the 4th 14 MSU 9, in the 4th LSU will score 21, It will be another good SEC football game , it will be MSU's bowl game this year. The best game that MSU plays all year !!
Hate to disagree with a fellow Bulldog, but I am very optimistic about a Bulldog win on August 30. The "Dawgs" will be much improved on offense (i.e., more depth/talent at running back, offensive line, wide receiver and tight end positions). While the defense will have a lot of new faces, the talent level is there to have another great defense on par with that of the last half of last season, but with more speed. Expect the kicking game to be much improved. Just remember last year's Bama game. I predict that the "Dawgs" will play with same level of intensity for the LSU game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNmhaQiPOJY&NR=1 Go Dawgs! ClaraDawg
