So, does everybody still think this will be a good move for Bama Boy's career? If anything, I think it gave the Raiders additional leverage in negotiations with Bama Boy, thereby making it more difficult for them to agree to a contract and so Bama Boy will probably miss probably all of training camp, exhibition games, and might not be signed till the season starts. I fail to see how this would be beneficial to him.

anytime you cash a 38 million dollar check, its very beneficial even if you get run over by a truck the following day. however, that occurs even less frequently than an ND bowl victory.

Any challenges typing the real name, bitter? Are we still having a tough time writing the actual name that has been haunting since Sugar bowl. And yes, you finally typed "him" and not "Bama Boy" at the end. That's good, some progress from Bama boy. :thumb:

    Geaux tigers.

    Fixed it for you, Bitter.

Reads just about the same doesn't it? Only it's much more rediculous in BQ's case since he's holding out for chump change, comparatively speaking.

It has nothing to do with JR's contract negotiations.

The only relevant things are last year's #1 pick and the QB premium. That's it.
