I don't really think so. This is going to go down to the wire. At the last minute, the Astros will present their best offer and CJ will either accept it or reject it. Until that last minute, everything else is posturing.
They've had plenty of time to make their best offer. Why would they wait to the last possible second? They've already made their best offer and CJ didn't bite. Maybe they come back with another better offer before the 15th but I doubt it. They would have done it by now.
Believe me, the Astros dont want good players...they rather fill there minor leauge system with crap players...They wont give him the money he's worth. And he'll play at LSU.
Do you redshirt him and save a year...or let him play on ST and mop up duty so he has experience to star next year? I'd let him play.
