you can thank the media for being on nd's jock. this is the single biggest factor as to why nd will most usually start the year ranked in the top 10-15. has weiss done a good job? ask tyrone. i suspect if you put weiss at maryland or missouri the results would be much the same, ok, but not earth-shattering.

I loved watching the draft with one of my best friends.....hes from Memphis and is a big time ND fan....went to the game and made him wear a LSU jersery to the first day back to classes at UNO......but getting back to the draft it was great to watch it with him because it took forever for Quinn to get drafted..n I have never let him live it down:eek:ldskule:

I think every student at UNO went to LSU at one point. So he probably fit in pretty well. I hope everyone he saw that day wanted to talk  sports.

And I bet you never will, as it should be.

The payout from those two consecutive BCS bowl games have already helped to cover his contract.

No, the cupboard is bare. Coach Willingham was too busy playing golf all day, and didn't do enough recruiting. His first year recruits were good, but the talent level fell off dramatically in following years.
