I just got back from Pensacola, and there were tons of LSU fans - seemed like nearly half the families had someone wearing LSU gear.

Pensacola is always swarming with LSU fans. I think a few LA natives own a few restuarants out there. I know for sure that Cocadries down the road in Navaree is owned by a LA resident. I am going to be in Pensacola next year for the TAF Tiger Tour. Usually a very big turnout.

I live in Navarre! Thanks for the business. I'm a bama fan, but I have to hand it to you guys, you own the beaches in NW Florida from Pensacola to Destin. It's not new either, been that way for years. And Yes, many of the Restaurants in the area are owned/run by La. folks.

Been to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach twice this summer. LSU Tigers are well represented there also. Had some great conversations with fellow Tigers there. Funny thing, we were at the pool one night, and two little boys saw a few of us in LSU hats and shirts, and as they were swimming, they said "We stole your coach". I busted out laughing, and said, "No you got our leftovers!!!!"

And just FYI, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach is a lot better place to go now days for family stays than Destin/Ft Walton. Beaches are great. But if you are still young enough for the night life, I guess Fla region is the better choice:)

I was in Destin for the 4th and saw very many LSU folks. Like Bama Bengal, I also make it to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores 2-3 times a year and LSU is always very well represented. Heck, most of the stores and shops sell Auburn, Alabama, and LSU stuff.
