1. When Red asks me to leave. I try to behave and be respectful in your house, but Bama is going to continue to improve and anyone that dismisses them out of hand is being foolish. I bet that your coaches will take them dead serious.

  2. Lighten up TG....... To my knowledge, XXL TideFan has been a good visitor- just the fact that he's been here since '03 says a lot. :thumb:

  3. You guys don't want CNS back do you? I mean he has been stained crimson.
  4. The thought of Carr retiring sends shivers down my spine.

The only redeeming thing about Michigan derailing ND's championship aspirations like that last season was that it saved Carr's job and gave him a few more years. That was probably his biggest win in years. With Carr in charge, Michigan was always ready to implode no matter how talented its team may have been. If Michigan forced Carr out, and got a real coach... Yikes.
  5. Now really.. you gotta be kidding me. It's one thing to be optimistic but this just beats any sorta football logic.

  8. Turns out he WAS scared of the NFL.
  9. If this happens, my (early) money is on Jack Del Rio. He's young, intense, has Louisiana roots, showed clear interest in the job last time around...and wouldn't be tempted to leave for an NFL gig or to coach his alma mater (unless you think Petey is going anywhere anytime soon).
  10. Del Rio sounds like the type of coach who would do better at the college level than the NFL, a la Pete Carroll.

But, I hope Carr stays. With all that talent and the way UM exploits its football players, esp the african americans, Carr should have been able to do so much more. He has a good winning percentage but that's because its built on a creampuff schedule against MAC schools. Carr's problem has been that his teams choke in the spotlight in big games, where they can't beat the USCs and OSUs. UM thinks it walks on water, but please... Despite their cheating, they haven't been relevant in years.
