It's sweeping statements like that...those have basically taken your credibility to the level of Pauly Shore talking about heterosexualism. Still waiting on your explanation of '66. I'll give you a bit of time to think about this one.
Lil bit, y'all set them boyz up for failure man. Like Terry said about "Sweeping statements" then they don't live up to the hype. LSU fans are just the opposite, we (Not all, but the loudest mouths) don't give enough credit to ours then they get picked first in the draft. So we've noticed.....10 loses in a row.
Maybe, Clausen doesn't live up to the enormous expectations but the buzz is that this was the most coveted high school QB in years. Are you going to deny that he was considered the top QB in his class? ESPN's football recruiter said "Claussen posseses rare polish and comes from a solid quarterback pedigree. At this stage, few players possess his physical traits. Reminds us of John Elway at the high school level when he came out of California ." Sporting News Matt Hughes has also compared Clausen to John Elway, writing that "Jimmy Clausen is as close to John Elway as it gets."
Yes, he was rated #1 QB of the class of '07. And, described as "one of the most polished..." Take note here. One of. Most heralded QB to come out in the last decade...IMO, it would probably be Brock Berlin with Tebow a close second.
So was Ryan Perrilloux..........so what?? See what I mean? Until they get it done on the college field, it ain't squat. :thumb:
Well, that's more like it--The most highly touted quarterback since Ryan Perriloux. We signed the last highly-rated Clausen and he couldn't make it higher than 3rd string after 3 years at LSU so he transferred to Tennessee where they made him a starter and he led them to a 5-6 season.
