We dont lose players, we're not talking about dimes here. They're people, and people make choices. He just chose to go to a small nice college and be the one who carries the team. It worked out well for him, dont you think? He may have been a great runner had he chosen LSU but he would've taken a lot of beatings trying to run over defenders in the SEC, maybe a career ending injury. Looking back at it, Im sure he made the right choice. The right choice is not always LSU, we're no delusional ND fans who think we're the best college there is.

EDIT: When I said small college, I didnt mean it was small, I meant it was a relatively small "football school", not a top one.

Funny thing about this journalistic masterpiece is there is not even a single quoted source for one of these negative or disparaging fan remarks even though they are readily available (mostly on other boards). The only thing he has done is repeated heresay so I guess the natinal sports news is still reporting on "rumor and television" even after NSD.

Dodd must have been incredibly desperate and exceedingly lazy to put forth such a squirt of piss. I suspect even the psychos that threatened bodily harm, over a frickin college choice, were over it by the next day.

To paraphrase: Mr. Dodd, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

    Later,
    Fur

Old news....different coaching staff, LSU wanted him to play DB, just like every other SEC school. SDSU did find a diamond in the rough, happens sometimes. Doesn't have anything to do with McKnight.

I think that Dennis Dodd, though I've never heard of him outside of what people post here (he writes for the CBS sports site, for crying out loud, I never go there of my own volition) is about as important to collegiate athletics as I am. Maybe less so.

If that's the case then I hope that Jack in the Box has an opening when I graduate next year. Lots of students in my class.

    Hahahaha.

Brother, maybe you better go check how USC rates compared to other universities; like, say .... LSU, before you start lobbing those kind of bombs ... or the back-blast may kill you.
