Hahaha. Mrs. Spectre will tell you to not worry about that aspect, but I'll add that I rarely have intentionally fired the first shot ... when visiting other boards, anyway.

I'm actually a fairly "respectful" person and intend to stay that way here, if for no other reason than out of respect for lsutiga, but I'm also direct and have little patience for wooly-headed thinking and hyperbole.

I expect strong support for LSU from all Tiger fans, but I may disappoint you if you think I'll flame anyone for the sake of a meaningless internet beef. Furthermore, (as I have already said) I happen to like LSU ... and Les Miles, for that matter.

Regardless, I fully expect to get my share of bruises on your board, but I'm not here to abuse or be abused. And I'm not here to talk politics, religion or discuss the relative merits of the arguements pro & con of global warming. I''m here to talk (and learn) SEC football, LSU football especially, and to meet what I am told is a pretty classy bunch of Tiger fans.

Anyway, fire away; I have a pretty thick skin.

Think you got it bad . My In Laws gave me a sign/Plaque that says " We Interupt This Marriage For Football Season" .

I have gone camping with them once and only once. It was the Florida game 2003 ( Our Only Loss ) and they found out how deeply i take LSU football.

When we lost i accused them of being a curse and/or bad luck. I told them i will never camp with them again during football season.

I had to apologize to the LSU fan base for camping with people who are cursed.

Hahahaha - I understand that.

I love my wife dearly ...... but, I took here to a state playoff game a couple of years ago and the "good guys" had an illegal motion penalty called on them.

As the flag fluttered to the ground and 25,000 were momentarily silenced, Mrs. Spectre yells out, "Oh no, travelling!" :redface:

I promptly headed for the "tall and uncut".
