    1. LSU vs Oklahoma 2003--Championships come before my marriage, my fiance at the time did not have a ticket but she was working in the French Quarter at the time. But since I am a good husband I will have a tie for 1st in case she reads this. But she would say the same if the roles were reversed.

    1. LSU vs UGA 2003--My Wife and I had our 1st date at this game and I told Skyler the Summer after the season when he worked at my Dad's office that he helped me get lucky that night.:hihi:
    3. LSU vs FL 1997-- I will never forget that night and watching my favorite Tiger of all time, Kevin Faulk, have a nice redemption game against #1 Florida after a poor showing the year before.
    4. LSU vs Auburnt 2005-- Ups and downs the whole game made it one of the most exciting games from start to finish. I had fun yelling Ping all the way to the car.
    5. LSU vs. Tenn 2000--Overtime thriller.

LSU vs. USC at Tiger Stadium 1979. I was on the sidelines. I talked to Keith Jackson after the game since I was part of the Louisiana press at the time.
He said it was without question one of the best top five games he had ever seen in his life.

p.s........I had never heard crowd noise like that before in my life. I had been to countless LSU games before and after that game and to this day I think the volume of that crowd damaged my hearing.

    1. National Championship Game (obvious)
    2. Earthquake Game (My 1st LSU game ever back when my uncle was in law school and I was hooked for life!)
    3. Fla. '97 (me and my cousin got to help tear down the goal posts. I still have some TS turf and my ticket stub from that game on the mantle in my home office
    4. Auburn in '01 (clinched our 1st SEC West championship)
    5. Ole Piss last year (1st game I took my 6yr old son to)

Many, many, many more fun times and great games, but those stand out.

Gutwrenchers where the atmosphere was amazing all game long:
    1) Florida 1997
    2) Georgia 2003 (the home game)
    3) Auburn 1995 (if you didn’t follow the Tigers in the early 90’s, you just can’t understand how fine that game was)
    4) Tennessee 2000
    5) Alabama 2000 (finally, we beat them at home!)

Most satisfying to be at for what happened at the end or for what was at stake:
    1) 2003 SEC championship
    2) Auburn 2001
    3) Auburn 1988 (I didn’t feel the earth move, but my eardrum was tearing)
    4) Kentucky 2002
    5) Auburn 1996 (first big road win I got to see in person)

If I could pick any game I would have liked to have seen in person in the last 20 years, it would be the MNC game in New Orleans or the 2001 SEC championship against Tennessee. I’m also sorry I didn’t get to see in person the 2005 Auburn game or the Peach Bowl against Miami.
