    Hi All,
Just wanted to stop by and see if I could get the inside scoop on Craig Davis now that he's one of the newest editions to our team. What are his strengths and weaknesses? I've read some of the scouting reports on NFL.com, but I'd like to hear what the fans have to say about him, rather than more technical-minded scouts...

How do you think he'll do in the pros, and how does he compare to Bowe (since we'll be up against him twice a year)?

Thanks a lot fellas. You've got a great program, and I especially enjoyed watching you guys tear up Brady Quinn and ND.

A very steady player that will play hard on every down. He is a team player that will make the Chargers a better team. He is also a class act.

Pretty much what everyone else said. He's a quality receiver and will contend for the R.O.Y. along with the likes of JaMarcus Russell, Dwayne Bowe, and Laron Landry. And yes...only those 4.:thumb:

on any other team, he'd be THE man but was on a team with bowe and doucet so the ball got spread around.

out of the three, davis was considered by many to be the most complete receiver (hands, speed, route running, blocking, running after catch, etc.)

the nation doesn't know about this guy b/c of bowe, but you guys will not be sorry you picked him.

Great hands, knows the position, good athlete, good attitude. Absolutely worth a first-round pick.

Buster is not a flashy player. He'll help move the chains consistently, but he wont' get a lot of TDs.

He is a really tough player, doesn't mind taking a hit for the team, but this caused him to be a bit injury prone here at LSU.

He's very fast, his 40 time at the combine was with a sore hamstring. He's got some of the best hands of any WR from the draft. He can return punts, but just started this past year & wasn't anything spectacular.

We're gonna miss him a lot. I look forward to watching him as a Charger.

Now if he only could've gotten those 4 damned yards......:yelwink2:

What are you talking about? ;)

Buster was my favorite of the wideouts we had this year. Dwayne, as great as he is, is somewhat inconsistent. Buster is game on, always, every down.
