99 can do with this what he wants, but I thought I'd make one. I'm on my way out there right now- anyone else going (or already there )? I might go to baseball afterwards, I doubt it though.
I went. It was a good game. Early Doucet is still the best player on the field. It doesn't matter if he's at WR, KR, or PR...he's scary good. The defensive line on both teams was getting fantastic pressure on the QB's. Flynn and Perrilloux hardly had anytime to get the ball away in most cases. Trindon Holliday is a nice weapon to have. I hope they use him strategically during the season. Richard Murphy was a pleasant surprise and Broussard made a few good runs. As for the kicking, they were using that same punt formation:nope: And field goals still make me nervous despite Colt David going 2-2.
I have no clue, but when CLM declined it, that was a class act. I was impressed with the backfield in general minus the QBs, I was a little disapointed when I wasn't watching these two fantasically fine girls that were in front of me. I must admit that they took some of the attention away from the game. Richard Murphy is everything that clair said he'd be. He's going to be something special. I left at the half, however- we went over to the volleyball game before we went and watched the baseball team practice and ate frozen lemonade. Watched track for about 5 minutes, then took the long way home down River Road and drove on the levee. Today was so nice- loads of LSU, and great weather to boot. A little warm at points, but just a nice day.
Here is a report from the game with some stats. Good to see RP get some good runs in for 11 and 13 yards. Holliday had 2 catches for 65 yards. Murphy lead all rushers with 85 yards on 11 carries and a long of 28. Colt David made 42 and 37 yard FGs. Fylnn and Doucet Shine
46 yards on 8 carries but I wasnt there so I cant really tell you how he looked. BTW, Miles is liking the Spring format this year and hopefully we will get to see more of these in the future. But Miles said he isnt making any promises.
Audio of complete game, mostly commercial free, 2 hours, 40 minutes. To get the file under 100 MB had to use 32KB stereo, but it still sounds OK. 2007 LSU Spring Game
told ya. it's not to bash Keiland at all.. Keiland is running REALLY well.. I just think this kid could be the best RB we've ever seen here.
