Saw a thread like this somewhere else & thought it was an interesting topic...
So lets see some predictions for where these players will be drafted.

    Brandon LaFell
    Keiland Williams
    Ali Highsmith
    Early Doucet
    Matt Flynn
    Craig Steltz
    Jacob Hester
    Jonathan Zenon
    Chevis Jackson
    Alley Broussard
    Luke Sanders
    Darry Beckwith
    Brett Helms
    Ciron Black
    Will Arnold
    Richard Dickson
    Ricky Jean Francois
    Tyson Jackson

Anybody else you can think of that we've seen play substantial time at the college level... (Putt is excluded because he's a sure-fire 1st rounder).

Obviously very hard to predict so I'm going to say the highest that they are likely to go:

    Brandon LaFell - second round
Keiland Williams - mid first round
    Ali Highsmith - first/second round
    Early Doucet - first round
    Matt Flynn - second/third round
    Craig Steltz - third/fourth round
Jacob Hester - third round(think Brian Leonard, good at a lot but not great at anything)
    Jonathan Zenon - third/fourth round
    Chevis Jackson - second round
Alley Broussard - first-fourth(very hard to predict)
    Luke Sanders - fourth round
    Darry Beckwith - second/third round
    Brett Helms - third round
    Ciron Black - first/second round
Will Arnold - early second/late second round
    Richard Dickson - first/second round
Ricky Jean Francois - second/third round
    Tyson Jackson - first round

It's harder to say on the younger ones but that's where I think they could go if they continue to develop, on the older ones it's a little easier to say but still they are atleast a year, if not more, away from the process.

    Okay, I'll give mine...

    Brandon LaFell - 2nd round
    Keiland Williams - 1st/2nd
    Ali Highsmith - 3rd
Early Doucet - 1st/2nd (likely 1st with a weak WR class next year, IMO)

    Craig Steltz - 4th/5th
    Jacob Hester - 6th
    Jonathan Zenon - 6th
    Chevis Jackson - 5th
    Alley Broussard - undrafted
    Luke Sanders - undrafted
    Darry Beckwith - 1st/2nd
    Brett Helms - 2nd/3rd
    Ciron Black - 2nd/3rd
Will Arnold - 4th (durability questions)
    Richard Dickson - 5th
    Ricky Jean Francois - 1st
    Tyson Jackson - 1st

I think Broussard has potential to go first round but probably won't because of how strong the underclassmen RB class will be next year. Undrafted is also a possibility. Has he been getting many reps in spring practice?

Broussard definitely isn't going in the first round if he were healthy and motivated.

He could have first round talent. He runs like Terrell Davis mixed with Larry Johnson mixed with Adrian Peterson when he's healthy. If he comes out this year and establishes himself as the clear number 1 back, gets close to 2,000 yards, and stays healthy, he could defiinitely be a first rounder.

Obviously there were a lot of could, when, and if's in that statement but my post was pure speculation. I'm just throwing out the possibility. He could just as easily tumble into oblivion in the draft. I doubt he returns to his '04 form, but he COULD.

I can't see Flynn going to high, unless he does amazing this year. He'd have to have a year like JR last year to be in the 2nd or 3rd year. H eonly has 1 year of playing time so he's still unproven. Broussard is the kind of the same i think, he has to have a very good year to be drafted. But that is unlikely with all the talent we have a RB, he might not see the field too much even. Its hard to say for the rest, they all the potential to be drafted high and that says a lot about our recruiting, they just have to produce and work hard

Broussard hasn't even been at Spring practice. He was suspended for a while & is still out of shape. I doubt he gets more than 400 yards rushing this year. He'd need 800+ to get drafted. Its a shame because he was definitely 1st round material.
