So, while some will continue to argue that the surface inside the RCA Dome is "slow," it has clearly been shown that, if you are fast, you can run fast at the combine.

* Safety has not been a primary position on the minds of teams drafting in the first round in recent years, but that trend is likely to change following Tuesday's workouts. LSU's LaRon Landry was timed in the mid-to-high 4.3 range, while Texas' Michael Griffin came in at 4.45. Brandon Meriweather of Miami (Fla.) ran between 4.48 and 4.50 seconds, Wyoming's John Wendling ran in the 4.45-4.49 range and Virginia Tech's Aaron Rouse came across between 4.48 and 4.52.

Yeah, I turned the NFL channel on last night after LOST. I noticed LaRon was 2nd fastest among defensive backs. That's awesome!
