Wow, what's not to love about that great schedule, eh? Two nationally-televised games that'll get moderate to great attention in the first two weeks of the season, that's a big, big deal. Here's why: we all know LSU will start the season in the top 5, but two high profile wins--one in the conference on the road and one against another top 10 team---could very easily put LSU at #3 or higher by September 9. No Georgia and no Tennessee is also a good thing, esp if one or the other emerges to win the SEC East and LSU needs a conf. title game BCS bump into the top two. Week before LSU v Florida LSU plays...Tulane Florida plays...Auburn Week before LSU v Auburn: LSU plays...Kentucky AU plays Arky...in Fayetteville Again, a great schedule for a national title run!!
I guess I can see that, except for the fact that LSU baseball opened the season last weekend vs. St Mary's. Hey, LSU football **NEVER** ends. Just 194 days and a wakeup until Moo U, baby!!!:helmet:
