I'd point out how dramatically short-sighted and grossly inaccurate your statements are, but you are evidently way too ignorant to understand such observations. So I won't waste my time. FYI, go on over to the recruiting forum. You won't find much negativity towards McTrojan. In fact, a lot of people said that they understand his decision. Now run along, little doggy. I think there's a Tech woman's Bball game about to tip.
Hey jackass The AP is calling foul not LSU fans. Why dont you go drink?? Oh I forgot not in the city limits.
I think you guys missed the boat on this one. What you do is simply ignore rustondawg. He's getting you guys all fired up and loving it. Why feed him? You're playing right into his hands. He's irrelevant along with his post. As far as USC goes, something will come of this. Couple this with the Bush thing and like Red said they will be diligent in going after SC.
On Wednesday evening around 4 o'clock there was a telephone interview on WWL 870 am with Kenny Wilkerson and Bobby Hebert and Joe McKnight and Coach Curtis. Joe McKnight and coach Curtis said on air that Joe spoke with Reggie , before NSD, on the phone and Reggie assured him that he didn't take any money. It is on tape at WWL. I wonder if we'll hear that tape again. Time will tell.
gotta' mildly disagree with you there, islstl ....... most of us don't have much faith in the NCAA or the inconsistent enforcement of it's policies. Like it or not, Southern Cal is one of the NCAA's protected species. The majority opinion is that this will be swept under the rug, just like the Reggie Bush matter. The Script for Protected Species like USC: 1) internal investigation 2) use extensive network of USC journalism grads to spin the story 3) self-report the violations as "minor" in nature 4) say "mia culpa" to the NCAA 5) rinse and repeat
Interesting that Coach Curtis would get in the middle of this and lie. I understand he is trying to protect his player, but he would implicated as well. I have no idea what that would mean, nothing more than likely.
Following the time lines on this, Pete said he asked before he went on his in-home visit with Mc knight, if he could have a conference call, and was told it was a violation. Fast forword to McKnights Press conference and he speaks of said conference call with Bush and Pete. (Coincidence? Don't think so.) Now upon learning of Pete's denial, McKnight (who has aspirations of Broadcasting) has suddenly realized he was mistaken. What are they teaching these kids at Christian Schools?
