You got it Col. I am glad that all of you feel comfortable enough to ask your friends here for prayers. God bless your family. I have never asked before, but pray for my mom. She was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer last year. She has came through really well, but the chemo and radiation did a lot of harm to her body. She is one of the greatest ladies that anyone would ever meet. The one thing that she told me the first day was that she was okay and ready to go home, but she would fight this for the rest of us. Now that is love. Again Col. we will be praying for you.
If you ever feel like you have problems, just look around and count your blessings instead. Thoughts and prayers with you and your family Colonel !
That is so true. To bad we have to be reminded of it every now and then. I'm about to have to put an elderly Aunt in a nursing home and it's so sad for me. I go and look at them and see all the old people just living out their lives, many with no clue where they are. I sometimes think medical science has progressed to the point where they can keep us alive longer than our bodies can stand up to it.
I understand. Just last week we had to put my mother-in-law in a nursing home. She has to stay there for 100 days before she can move into an assisted living home. My sister-in-law had polio as a child. It left her severely crippled. Now at 55, the doctors tell us the polio has come back on her. I did not know polio would "re-occur." My wife works, then goes to spend a couple hours with her Mom, and checks on her sister. I work and do what I can to help. We eat a lot of fast food. BUT I GOT A GOOD ONE. THANK GOD FOR HER.:thumb:
