seems like a few weeks ago I heard something about the game in Starkville being moved to the opener and getting put on a Thursday night. I checked the schedule and it hasn't changed. Anyone have any idea what is going on with that ??
My guess is we will be playing in Starksville on Thursday night to open the season. I remember reading that ESPN would find us a D-1 opponent to replace Middle Tennessee if we agreed. I don't see why we wouldn't because that would pretty much guarantee that game and the replacement game to be on national TV. Otherwise LSU-MSU would probably be a LF\JP game.
The last I remember hearing about it came from the Clarion Ledger With the mid-January date passed, I guess the chances are now less than “50-50”

I see it as nothing but a positive. As long as we ain't playing on a Thursday night in Death Valley, I'm all for it.
