    Miles quality as a person is being reflected in the quality of his recruits. He is not only getting the talent but the character. And those whose character is questionable seem to migrate elsewhere.

    Nice thread.

    Miles is a great guy. I met him one time when he spoke to a group and we had a meaningless bs conversation, but it was really interesting. I bumped into him by Kirby Smith while walking to class and he asked how my Aunt was doing, who we talked about...I'd never remember that. :) He is a great guy and I'm glad he is our coach. :thumb:

    Good reads. Big contrast between Miles and Saban.
    Looks like Miles is reeling in fans as well as recruits:thumb: :D

    After the LSU-Pig Soui game in THE ROCK this year....me and a bunch of other fans were haning around the lower level of the stadium waiting for Les to finish his press confrence. We kept screaming LES! LES! LES! SPEACH! SPEACH! SPEACH! He came over and said words I will never forget. "Follow us wherever we go. Good things are to come." Spoken like a god.

    Thanks to all the people who posted on this thread. Being in Florida I don't get to "run" into him and know this stuff about him. I really enjoy reading these posts. I wasn't on his "bandwagon" in the beginning but I wasn't against him either! I felt he was our coach and I will believe in what he does. Figured I give him a couple of years and make my "official" judgement then! After two 11 win seasons and great recruiting...I say "Geaux LES!!"
    Now I can like him as a coach and a person and that is something to be proud of!!!

    Would it be safe to say that we liked Dinardo as a person but not a coach, Saban as a coach but not a person, and now we have the best of both? Pretty sweet.

    I'd say that's a pretty fair assessment.

    DiNardo was all smiles.

    $$$$$ was all business.

    Les is both.

    There is certainly a time and place for each one.

    HE KNOWS WHEN TO BE WHICH ONE. :thumb:

    I think we need an "admired" icon that we can dedicate to Les. :wink:

    I live in Big 12 Country and had heard that Miles was a good coach, reccruiter and man. I am so glad he is our coach. Over the weekend, I watched my LSU Fields of Glory (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and Saban was on there and the few things he said on there didn't really seem sinscere. I am not sure if that was in more hind sight.....

    Miles=Greatness!
