Rivals.com Bama bias?????

Its a little less than the threads about tiger fans on tidefans!:rofl: Better recruits than who? :lol: UAB congrats, but we all know its just because Bear bryant JR keeps that program down.

 

I welcome the competition and think Miles is up to the challenge. The SEC keeps strengthening their case as the top conference.

 

I've heard that Rivals has more of a UF bias and that Scout has an AU bias. Who knows? I think they're only useful as a predictor of potential talent. There are plenty of 5 stars who have failed to live up to their billing and even more 2 stars who've gone on to be solid players who made valuable contributions to their teams' success. When Rivals has Bama at 13 and Scout has us at 33, who can say that either of them are really experts. If either, or both, were truly experts, they'd probably be a little closer.

As for a 6-6 record for Bama next season, I suppose it's entirely possible. A 9-3 record may be a little optimistic but when you consider that coaching was probably directly responsible for at least 3 losses, 9-3 should have been attainable last season. I ain't saying Saban's going to come in and put us in the NC game, but I expect he'll have the players in better shape and in a better position to win than did the previous regime.
