Another site said he was not going to play until he rectified his situation with the university? whats his situation?
If i got the story straight, I think he was on academic probation for recycling a term paper. Now, they are saying it might be more academic problems while on probation. However, still no say on what the actual problem is. Its either another code of conduct infraction or poor grades.:thumb:
the code of conduct would be correct. It is a shame also with the amount of help these athletes get to get an education as well as remaining eligible.
well, unfortunately, most of them dont come in with a sufficient foundation to do well in college. it certainly doesnt excuse it, but i understand how it happens.
according to rivals his SAT score is 1280. i don't think intelligence is a problem with this kid. this kid is simply a problem and we'd be better off.
Absolutely. We knew he had problems in high school and took a chance on him, hoping he would mature. It hasn't worked out and it's time to move on.
The team took a big hit when we lost DJ Augustin. We will look to sign a true point guard in the next recruiting season, since this one has already passed and we failed to get one. We did take a flyer on Tack and it didn't work out. Voogd is just out-classed right now, and I am not sure if he can take his game up any more. If you remember, LSU spent several years trying to convince us that Torris Bright was a point guard. We don't have a great recent history with true PGs.
So is Tack off the team? I guess he, for sure won't be playing tonight. What is his official status with the team?
