What?!!! The guy scored an 88-yard TD in the NFC Championship breaking a record, and you dont want him to celebrate? There was nothing wrong with telling the guy behind him that he can never catch him while he was going a 100 miles an hour, and then just flip into the endzone, is that something wrong? cuz i always seem to do it on MADDEN!!!:D

Creole isn't a race, rather a culture all its own. As far as the ND-catholic affiliation: What the hell does religion have to do with college athletics anyway? I applied to Notre Dame because of its academics, not because of its athletics or the fact that it's a catholic university. In fact, if I were choosing a school, I would not base it on religion alone. However, money not an option, I would have still chosen Creighton, Gonzaga or Loyola anyway.

Despite LSU's great academics, I'm a fan because LSU is La's team. I'm not a Saints fan, but I do support them when they play. I'm not really of a professional sports fan at all....

I can't believe we're even arguing about Reggie Bush. His family was receiving illegal benefits, and there's no way he couldn't have not known about it. One day, he goes home and his family is living large and no questions asked? They should take back the Heisman award, and USC should have had all its games stripped for using an illegal player. I'm not necessairly surprised since he was all set to go play for ND, before surprising his high school coach and everybody else by going to SC when he had previously expressed no interest in SC. And, of course, the day after he signs with SC, his dad is driving in a brand new SUV.

Your wrong on your Florida Parish being in North Louisiana group.

ALL MOST ALL of the Florida Parish was populated by "White Flight", and for those that dont know what that term is, that was when the families finacial able to move OUT of New Orleans did so for a slower paced city life.

Most of these families had or have ties to the refineries that populate the lower parishes.

I would say that Louisiana has 4 maybe 5 different parts.

The North Louisiana starts around Alexandria.

Then you have the Melting Pot which stretches from Ramah to Sildell along the I-12 corridoor.

South Louisiana you were dead on about.

As were you with New Orleans.

And then you got the part along the Texas border that while they live in Louisiana they would rather pull for the Texasan or Cowboys

I'm not sure why, but I'm somewhat partial to this group.

When people use the term white flight, its usually referring to white people leaving for racial reasons where they don't want to live near black people and associated higher crime rates. You can couch it in nicer sounding terms, like slower paced city life or more parks, but we all know the real, underlying reason.

Dude what is the problem? Honestly? So his family may have taken money. Does that discount the fact that he is a spectacular athlete? I would completely agree with stripping the heisman from a player who violated a steroids policy or something of that nature. But money for his family? I realize it's against the "rules" but I bet nearly every college and it's supporters in this country has done this at some point or another. Quit being upset that Reg didn't want to go to a losing university. He's about playing in championships; something ND couldn't offer. It's time to move on.

The reason it was called White Flight was because that was the majority of the race leaving the area, not all.

And the reason was not racially motivated, its was economics. You had people with money and there was ALOT of unspoiled land just north of the lake.

Like I said most of these people where tied to the refineries because back then those were some of the highest paying jobs so they had the income to accomplish the transation.

You come off as the biggest racist out of all the posters here because almost every single comment you make has racial undertones to it.
