San Diego knows they have a great team and must win in the next 3 or 4 years. What do they have to choose from right now? They also have a lot of young players who would listen to Dictator Saban. Kinda like a Barry Switzer move to the Dallas Cowboys senario. How much do you think an NFL owner in this position would pony up to win the Super Bowl?
<--- Would love to see that happen. Now, Shottenheimer has a great record (though dismal playoff record). I guess multiple trips to the playoffs is not good enough for San Diego.
His performance isn't the issue, it's his rocky relationship with the Bolts owner/GM. BTW, I'm not buyin' the Saban rumor .... not even for a second.
Didn't want to start a new thread on this b/c it seems that everytime I do, someone says it was posted already (I'm sure this one is no exception). Anyway, I just learned that JR won the Manning Award. In 2004 Matt Leinart won it, in 2005 Vince Young won it and of course 2006 belongs to JaMarcus. He's in good company! http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=748350
Re: Miles to San Diego Chargers? This is just a Bama fan trying to start trouble. Ignore the post and allow it to sink into the oblivion it so richly deserves.
