Blood alone moves the wheels of history! Have you ever asked yourselves, in an hour of meditation which everyone finds during the day, how long we've been striving for greatness? Not only the years we've been at war, the war of SEC supremacy. But from the moment as a child when we realize that the world can be conquered. It has been a life time struggle, a never ending fight, I say to you, and you will understand that it is a privilege to fight! We are Tigers!! Students, Alumni, Fans of Louisiana State University I ask you, once more rise and be worthy of this historical hour!

No team, regardless of success, is worth anything unless it can defend itself! Some people will tell you "Corndog" is a bad word. They'll conjure up images of drunkin' cajuns and rowdy frat boys. This is our duty to change their perception.

I say, Tiger faithful of the world, unite! We must never acquiesce, for it is together, together that we prevail! We must never cede control of the Death Valley for it is TOGETHER that we prevail!!

I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of poor perimeter shooting, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival. Let that be realised; no survival for the Brady Empire, no survival for all that LSU Basketball has stood for, no survival for the urge and impulse of the ages, that Tiger fans move forward towards its goal. But we must take up our task with buoyancy and hope. I feel sure that our cause will not be suffered to fail among men. At this time I feel entitled to claim the aid of all, and I say, "come then, let us go forward together with our united strength."
