Well, I'd say two or three, but he was excited. With half the SEC in the top-25 , three in the top-10, and two in the top-3, it seems the AP pollsters are starting to understand.
I can't say I'm without sin (I know, Tirk.... hard to believe , huh?), but I can say that my team (Auburn) whupped the Gators and we won our bowl game, which seems to be the criteria you were looking for. So I'll try to be as objective as I can when I say: * Ohio State was drastically overrated and overhyped * The Heisman and SI jinxes are alive and well. * Luckeye fans deserve every bit of smack they get after running their collective mouths the past 4 weeks. You got punked. * Ginn, Jr.'s injury had zero impact on why OSU was completely dominated * Tressel's insistence on remaining in a zone defense, especially in the 2nd half, was a primary reason why OSU was never in this game * OSU never cracked the code: "Pressure on Leak = Gator mistakes" "Hats off" to the Gators for (a) minimizing their turnovers, (b) minimizing their penalties, and (c) for their best Special teams performance of the entire season.:thumb:
Excellent analysis cadillac attack. :thumb: The Gators offensive performance can best be summed up in two words. Speed kills. The Buckeyes pass blocking can best be summed up in one word (Spanish). Ole  Me rooting for the Gators last night brought to mind an old Eagles tune. Uneasy Feeling
I think the DEFENSIVE performance was a result of "speed kills". The offense for UF was mostly dinks and dump offs, brilliantly executed to counter the zone defense the Blackeye's were in. Of course, they played zone in anticipation of the UF speed on offense, but nonetheless, UF's team speed was most notable on 'D', not 'O'. Think about it, how many times did Heisman winner Troy Smith get run down from behind by guys wearing 90's on their backs? It was funny to watch, 'cause he'd just roll out of the pocket thinking "let me slide away from this big guy", then the next thing he knows, the big guys on his back! That's my take on the speed aspect of this game. My name is Fishhead, and I approve this message.:thumb:
So does that mean you guys are ordering rings again?  JK "whupped up on the Gators?" You didn't score on offensive touchdown in that game. Come on man...very disputed call in that game...you got lucky. Luck, is one of the breaks of the game, I admit. Defense wins games, I admit. But "whupped up on the Gators?"
That LSU team wasn't on the same level, either. (meaning we weren't like a top 5 team that year, until after that game.)
Forgive his hyperbole, but look at the stats. Florida executed well on offense in the first half, but was completely shut down in the second. Special teams play was outstanding from Auburn, as was the defense after halftime. Auburn's offense executed well everywhere but in the red zone (sound familiar?) and did what they had to do to keep the Florida offense off the field. The call was only disputed in the minds of Florida fans and Auburn haters. The SEC office confirmed that the officials got the call right. I guess you are feeling your oats since Saban was hired, but as of right now, you have very little room to dispute Cadillac's statements.
I love how all tOSU fans were saying they are head and shoulders above everyone else. Big Ten fans were bickering that Michigan should be in the title game. The Big Ten has the two clear cut, top teams in college football. Suddenly, USC exposes what tOSU did, lack of a top notch secondary. Also the Michigan WR core is good, but not quite what they were made out to be. As well as the Michigan OL. Now that tOSU the prized team gets owned by Florida they still wont admit a thing. Face it, speed kills! Im not knocking them, because both are great teams. Any team could beat any on a given night. There are about 5 great college teams this year. They you could match up 3 times in a tournament and never get the same winner. Anyways, tOSU fans cant accept that Florida smacked them in the mouth and they didnt know how to react. The Florida DL blew tOSU OL off the line of scrimmage. Florida shredded the vaunted tOSU D. Their secondary couldnt stop the Florida WRs. Why cant they just admit, we lost to the better team? Earlier this year the Big Ten fanatics were bragging how tOSU and Michigan were by far the two best teams in the country. Hmm, maybe now the SEC guys should start boasting. Its clear the SEC has the two best teams to end the season, Florida and LSU!
I actually thought the buckeyes would win. They were certainly overhyped all year long. And to think there was debate as to who belonged in this game Florida or Michigan. Maybe nobody from the big ten belonged.
