So then USC should do horrible every year in the polls since they are percieved to be in a very weak conference? I didn't see that on the runway there captn.
We're gonna get our recruits no matter if Fla wins it or not. If Fla wins it shines well on LSU in a number of ways: 1. LSU should have beat Fla in the Swamp and shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly. 2. Reinforces the theory that the SEC is the toughest conference in the country. 3. Next year, when we pummel the Gators in BR it will be yet another reason for the media to vote us higher in the rankings. Yeah I'm pulling for the Gators with both hands and I hope its a blowout!:thumb:
Yep, i personally don't think if UF would win the NC it would hurt us recruiting-wise. They already have some extremely good classes but so does LSU. The recruits still remember that LSU won the National Championship 4 years ago and are very capable of doing it year in and year out. Florida has a very talented team as well, winning the NC would just mean they got it all together for one season. There's no reason to think LSU can't do the same.
Ya know, thinking on this for a while today, I'll find it easier to pull for Florida tonite than I would have if the ole ballcoach was still there. I wanted the Gators to lose 'em all when he was there. Funny thing though, I pulled for South Carolina a few times this season. Damfino.
