Good for him. I don't envy him having to coach whiny receivers with a terrible set of QBs.

The Browns made a mistake in getting rid of Robiskie. He won't have a problem landing another job. It is kind of a shame though, because there is a good chance Russell will end up playing for the Browns.

I was wondering the same thing actually.

Didn't he take over the Washington interim job when Spurrier left?

At the least, he would make a good position coach--but I don't think we should exactly let go of Porter (RB coach) or Monken (WR coach) to hire him because Robiskie's position coaching experience is at thos positions and it's looking more and more likely that Jimbo will stay--if only for one more season.

Robiskie might very well have a job by then.

Robiskie interviewed for the head coach job when LSU hired DiNardo. He told Joe Dean that head coach at LSU was the only place he would leave the NFL for. Terry Robiskie is a former NFL OC and an interim head coach. He'll have little trouble finding work in the NFL. He really wants to be an NFL head coach. I don't see him returning to college as an OC.

Isn't Robiskie's son a wide receiver for Ohio State?

I think he will be a NFL head coach someday. His time will come.
I really liked him while he was at LSU, however, I do remember he would have periods of time when he had trouble holding on to the football.

Wasn't he a OC with the Raiders for a few years?

He was an OC with the Raiders, per the Cleveland website. He has been a position coach lately, so his career has been moving backwards in the NFL. That does not bode well for him making it to head coach in the NFL. Red said he was spoken to in the late 90's and would only have left the NFL for a head coach job in college, but that may have changed in the last 10 years.
