I am loving this. Saban is making it easier for LSU to recruit already. He is not crossing a line at all but his tactics are really back firing on Bama. I am also happy that our recruits are spreading the word about Saban's tactics. Saban is making himself look like an a$$ and he can not blame that on anyone but himself. LSU! LSU! LSU!

I was pretty sure it was Evangel that was boycotting DiNardo, can't hardly blame them. I thought a couple more of the private schools were holding out too. I'm sure you guys would like to forget DiNardo as much as we would like to forget DuBose.

That's foolish, how can Nick claim LSU recruits for the last two years? He probably knows many of them as HS juniors. Nick is also getting acquainted with players at Alabama he recruited while at LSU. I just don't see how that is crossing any lines.

Dinardo did some good things while at LSU. It was his stuborness with assistant coaches that was his demise. I would not say I'd like to forget about him.

Here's the way I see it. I have good reason to suspect that writers (like Scarborough..but I'm only using him as an example, not point a direct finger at him because I haven't read his articles) tend to write things that reflect positively towards the LSU recruits and please the readers. I can't blame him, it's business.

One thing I know, and that is some of the names you see Saban contacting...the reasons are two fold. One, great prospects. Two, it's a simple "Howdy." Call it a "shot across the bow."

Take Mobile as example. It's been ripe for the picking for schools besides Alabama the last few years. It's his intention, no more.

To answer your question, I have to pose a question. Out of the starters on the last two years teams LSU has fielded, how many of those were Miles recruits and how many were Saban's? I don't follow your program as closely as you do...so, would someone please take the time to look that stat up?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by asking what I think of that statement. I wouldn't start to compare the two staffs against each other. If I did, it would lead to points of contention that would be a waste of bandwidth.

I suppose we can agree on this...I think our staff is one of the best, if not the best (top to bottom) in the SEC. You think your's is...

Think about it...if I were to start picking your staff apart, it wouldn't be respectful (I've made a couple of comments about Miles here, weren't well received, and were out of place considering this is an LSU forum), considering this is your house, and it wouldn't accomplish a thing. Now, it's your right to do that with our staff...I'm liable to defend those posts though. :)

Re: Bama Board Getting Nervous (Recruits)

I wouldn't call one poster questioning recruiting as Bama getting nervous
